CUSA Federal Credit Union

Our credit union started as Gulf Employees-Harvey Federal Credit Union on October 12, 1955. On January 1, 1975, our name was changed to Gulf Federal Credit Union. On August 28, 1985, we were renamed CUSA Federal Credit Union, as we are today. Later, two other credit unions joined CUSA Federal Credit Union: in 1989, Operators, Inc. FCU, and in 2002, Texaco Credit Union of New Orleans.

CUSA Federal Credit Union exists to serve the Louisiana Oil and Gas industry and their families by empowering our members to reach their best financial future through financial education, competitive products and services, and relationships that go above and beyond the banking industry standard.

We are a Louisiana-based "not-for-profit" organization here to serve our members and proud members of the Louisiana Credit Union League and Louisiana Oil and Gas Association. Helping people satisfy their individual financial needs is something we are committed to. We are an oil and gas credit union here to serve our members; you come first.
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government, insures our members’ deposits. At CUSA, you can be assured that your money is secured.

Membership

All Chevron employees, contractors, interns, Select Employer Group employees, and their immediate family members are eligible for CUSA membership.
